A mudroom to welcome you home

This house has a hallway that connects the kitchen and the garage, which is the main entry point for the residents. Not too much width but a long space, we decided to transform this space into a modern light mudroom that can serve as a transition area.

An area to put on or take off your shoes, hats and coats. But also an area to put your keys and that bag of clothes that you want to remember to take next time you leave the house.

And though it is a very functional space it is also an additional space to decorate for the season. Like a seasonal warm embrace the moment you come home.
